A new gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma eu newspapers guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how education can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
